Introduction
We’re thrilled to share with you the story of our recent brand development and website redesign. This was a huge step for us and something that has been on our minds for a very long time. We knew that our website needed a fresh, modern look but finding the right partner to help us bring our vision to life was a challenge. After a long search we landed on Studio Republic, whose creative goals and values aligned perfectly.
Studio Republic’s track record of working with incredible charities such as Children with Cancer UK and Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust, really stood out to us. Their expertise and commitment to clients resonated deeply with us, so we decided to go ahead with them.
The project
Our original idea was to give our website some new life, make it more modern, flexible, appealing and user friendly. But when we started to look into this deeply with Studio Republic, they showed us some flaws in our branding. Their thoughtful insights left us thinking about our branding and how we could potentially take it to the next level. After further research, we recognised that our branding could benefit from their expertise. As a result, we moved forward with a brand development project. Studio Republic refined and enhanced our existing brand elements, including redrawing our logo, adjusting our colour palette for improved accessibility, exploring typography to strengthen our brand personality, and developing graphical devices to enhance brand recognition.
One thing that we wanted to keep was our diamond. It’s been part of who we are for so long, that it represents who we are, stands out, and is what we are recognised by. If we went through a complete rebrand, we were worried that we would lose our identity so we wanted to do everything we could to make sure this didn’t happen. But we were open to subtle changes to make it feel softer, more modern, and a colour scheme change as we weren’t too happy with our current.
Developing our brand and evolving our identity was a daunting process for us, but Studio Republic’s collaborative spirit and design expertise helped put us at ease. They worked closely with us throughout, incorporating our feedback until we landed on the final design.
The end result is something we’re incredibly proud of, and we couldn’t be happier. Our revamped website and branding feel like a true reflection of us. Our diamond is still a prominent feature, but is softer and features a nicer colour scheme, which helps keep our professionalism, but makes us look inviting and friendly.
A heartfelt gesture
Soon after the project had wrapped up, Studio Republic surprised us with an act of kindness which resonated with us. They partnered with Ecologi and funded the planting of 100 trees in Uganda in our name! This stands as an ongoing reminder of the amazing work we did together. This gesture shows their dedication to making a positive impact on the world, which is one of the reasons we chose them in the first place.
The trees are part of an incredible reforestation and ecosystem restoration project that is being supported by Ecologi. Studio Republic has also provided us with an Ecologi report, which details the CO2 offset and more.
Conclusion
We’re deeply grateful to Studio Republic for everything they’ve done for us. From making our brand stand out, to meaningful touches like planting trees in our name, they’ve shown time and time again what it means to care about their clients.
This ended up being more than just a project, it has been an inspiring partnership full of learning. Our new website and branding stand as a mark of creativity, hard work, and shared vision.
